The Best Connection is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join a residential home team in Llanmaes. As a Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life. This will be a possible permanent position for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide personalized care and support based on individual needs.
Assist with daily activities such as personal care, meal preparation, community outings, and medication management.
Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for clients.
Maintain accurate and current care records.
Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Follow care plans and comply with policies and procedures.
Requirements:
At least 6 months experience in a similar role.
Full UK driving license.
Registration with Social Care Wales.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.
Shifts and Pay:
08:00 am to 8:30 pm.
2-week rota: 4 days one week, 3 days the next.
£11.44 per hour.
