Geospatial Data Consultant
Location: Cambridge, UK (Hybrid working model)

Overview
We are looking for a collaborative, smart, and innovative Geospatial Data Consultant to join the 1Spatial Professional Services team. You will be a self‑motivated problem solver with strong communication skills, working closely with customers to solve data‑centric problems using GIS, databases, and 1Spatial technologies.
Responsibilities
As a consultant, you will deliver customer‑focused projects, develop 1Spatial products and solutions, and collaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities. Your work will involve:
* Utilising 1Spatial’s rule‑based solutions and third‑party tools such as FME, ESRI ArcGIS, VertiGIS, QGIS, and PostGIS.
* Automating the modification, management, and re‑use of complex spatial and non‑spatial data.
* Engaging with customers and delivering demonstrations and presentations to win business.
* Traveling to customer locations and industry events across the UK as required.
Requirements
* A degree in Geographical or Data Science, or equivalent practical experience.
* A pragmatic problem‑solving approach with strong customer engagement, analytical, and detail‑oriented skills.
* Enthusiasm for learning and gaining hands‑on experience.
* Familiarity with spatial technologies and data, including ESRI, Safe FME, or VertiGIS.
* Experience with programming or data‑processing languages such as Python, R, and SQL is a plus.
* Willingness to undergo Baseline Security Clearance (BPSS) and Counter‑Terrorist Check (CTC). Candidates with higher clearance may qualify for remote roles.

Selection Process
