Quorn Foods is delighted to be recruiting for a Mechanical Technician to join our plant engineering team in Billingham.
Responsibilities:
* Install, modify, commission, inspect, and maintain assets across the plant, ensuring safety, quality, and cost standards are met to achieve long-term equipment reliability.
* Perform duties in compliance with Quorn's corporate, Environmental, Health & Safety policies, adhering to safe systems of work, risk assessments, and permit-to-work procedures.
* This is a day shift role, working 37.5 hours per week.
Required Experience:
* Background in a similar role within FMCG, manufacturing, or chemical industries.
* NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Maintenance.
* Effective communication skills and ability to develop strong relationships.
* Problem-solving skills and a drive for continuous improvement.
* Self-motivated with a commitment to self-development.
* Passion for healthy, sustainable products that benefit consumers and the planet.
