Payroll Administrator – Harrogate (Hybrid) Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 We’re working with a leading organisation in the environmental services industry, looking for an experienced Payroll Administrator to join their finance team based in Harrogate. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with solid end-to-end payroll experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced, multi-company environment. You’ll play a key role in ensuring payroll accuracy, compliance, and excellent service to employees.
What you’ll be doing: Processing end-to-end payroll across multiple business entities. Managing starters, leavers, statutory payments, and deductions. Handling pension administration and auto-enrolment assessments.
Ensuring compliance with PAYE, NIC, and HMRC reporting. Reconciling payroll data and preparing reports. Managing pay related queries and providing support across the business.
What we’re looking for: Minimum 2 years’ payroll experience, ideally within a multi company environment. Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical accuracy. Confident communicator, comfortable working to strict deadlines.
Competent with Microsoft Excel and payroll software. Knowledge of UK payroll legislation and auto-enrolment. Able to work independently and as part of a small, collaborative team.
