Passionate about helping young people succeed personally and professionally? We’re looking for someone to provide targeted mentoring and wellbeing support to learners within our Hospitality, Hairdressing and Beauty Faculty.
What you will be doing
* Providing mentoring and wellbeing support to learners in the Hospitality, Hairdressing and Beauty Faculty
* Supporting learners to overcome barriers to learning and stay engaged
* Promoting positive behaviour, attendance and wellbeing
* Building trusting relationships that support confidence and personal development
* Working closely with staff to ensure learners receive timely and appropriate support
* Helping learners develop the skills and behaviours needed for future employment
What we are looking for
* A calm, empathetic and confident individual committed to supporting young people
* Experience working with children and/or young adults in an education or support setting
* The ability to build positive relationships and act as a strong role model
* A resilient, proactive approach and strong communication skills
