We are recruiting an experienced Architect to support our platinum accounts. The successful candidate must be innovative, motivated, autonomous, and capable of developing and presenting secure solutions to customers, leadership, and technical teams.
Due to customer requirements, applicants must be eligible for high-level UK Security clearance, SC.
About the Role:
As the Strategic Sales Solution Lead, you will be responsible for delivering end-to-end solutions, including industry and business approaches, implementation methods, technology use, business and IT processes, and influencing commercial and financial models. A background working across industries with commercial customers is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deal Shaping: Develop and present customized solutions, validate fit, and demonstrate how solutions meet client objectives.
2. Opportunity Qualification: Assess if DXC solutions provide a competitive advantage, evaluate risks, and confirm delivery capabilities.
3. Solution Development: Responsible for solution development, cost estimation, commercial propositions, and business case alignment.
4. Client Interaction: Articulate solutions confidently, communicate value persuasively, and influence decision-making both virtually and face-to-face.
5. Team Collaboration: Work with clients, partners, and internal teams to design solutions aligned with client strategies and DXC objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Support sales teams in engaging with decision-makers to position DXC effectively.
* Experience with ITIL 4.
* Evaluate offerings and SME readiness for proposed solutions.
* Align solutions with customer business needs and support final opportunity validation.
* Provide feedback on competitive positioning and help define win themes.
* Understand client goals and align solutions accordingly.
* Analyze complex business problems and apply logical solutions.
* Stay updated on technological trends and their impact on solutions.
* Create client-centric, requirements-driven value propositions.
* Learn new business models and articulate how DXC can meet client goals.
* Present to CxOs, engage with business managers, and develop solution strategies.
* Prepare clear responses, highlighting benefits and addressing client questions.
* Use demonstrations and proof of concepts to showcase solutions.
* Exhibit influencing skills and become a trusted advisor.
* Communicate effectively to diverse audiences.
* Lead large IT projects, including consulting, pre/post-sales, and design/build projects.
* Keep abreast of industry trends and drive organizational change.
* Influence clients and internal stakeholders, including sales and partners.
* Act as a mentor and coach to team members, fostering a high-performance environment.
