Carer required to assist a disabled man living in his family home in Bonnyrigg.
Responsibilities
* Assisting with personal care, washing, dressing, PEG feeding, etc.
* Engaging the man with conversation, audiobooks, films and music. His main interests are music and comedy.
* Providing all training will be supplied by the family and other carers.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Observant, good initiative, friendly and chatty.
* Fine with dogs.
* Must be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme or be willing to join.
Employment Details
* Rate of pay: £13.07 per hour.
* Hours: 12 per week, Saturday and Sunday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
* Option for overtime to cover holidays and sickness.
