About the Service This specialist hospital supports adult males requiring structured, high‑dependency rehabilitation. Care is delivered through:
* Evidence‑based psychological therapies
* Trauma‑informed practice
* Personalised recovery planning
* A collaborative MDT including Psychology, Psychiatry, Nursing, OT, Support Workers & Therapies
Salary
* £46,800 per year (22.5 hours part‑time)
* Approx. £78,000 per year full‑time equivalent
What You’ll Be Doing As the Consultant Psychologist, you will play a leading clinical role, responsible for:
* Conducting timely psychological assessments, formulations and therapy plans
* Delivering individual and group interventions tailored to recovery and rehabilitation goals
* Providing clinical leadership, supervision and psychotherapeutic guidance to MDT colleagues
* Maintaining high‑quality clinical documentation, progress notes and HR20‑style reports
* Contributing to audit, outcome measurement and continuous service development
* Promoting a culture of reflective practice, accountability and evidence‑based care
What You’ll Bring
* Master’s degree + recognised post‑graduate qualification in Psychology
* Accredited with BABCP, BPS, BCP or equivalent
* Experience delivering psychological interventions in mental health or rehabilitation settings
* Compassionate, resilient and person‑centred approach
* Desirable: DBT training, experience writing HR20 clinical reports
