What we are looking for
* Reliable and friendly person with a positive attitude to join our team as an Assistant Cook
* Desirable: NVQ level 2 or City & Guilds catering qualification; minimum of 2 years’ experience in a catering environment is essential
* Has a Level 2 in Food Safety in Catering or is willing to work towards this qualification
* Able to deliver high standards of meal production and service
* Is a team player but able to use your own initiative
* Can have good relationships with others
* Is self-motivated and able to work to fixed deadlines
* Can work flexible hours including occasional evening, weekend or bank holidays
* Is customer focused
* Has experience of working in a catering environment
* Is able to deputise in the absence of the cook
