Think FE is working closely with a well-established and forward-thinking college in North Yorkshire, known for its inclusive ethos, excellent student support, and strong links with local health and social care employers. This college is now looking for a passionate and experienced Health and Social Care Lecturer to join their team on a long-term basis, starting as soon as possible.
The Role
You'll be delivering engaging and effective teaching across Level 1 to Level 3 Health and Social Care. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to student success and support learners in developing the skills they need to progress into further study or the workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver Health and Social Care courses at Levels 1 to 3
Prepare high-quality teaching materials in line with the curriculum
Support and engage students from a wide range of backgrounds
Monitor learner progress and maintain accurate records
Collaborate with curriculum staff and leadership to ensure teaching excellence
Essential Criteria:
Experience in health and social care sector
Level 3 in health and social care
A passion for teaching and inspiring students
Some teaching experience of any kind
Desirable:
Relevant degree or professional qualification in Health and Social Care
Experience with classroom management and online delivery platforms
Teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent)
Experience delivering Health and Social Care in an FE setting
