A Private Client, Wills & Probate Solicitor or Legal Executive from 4 years PQE, is required for a top law firm close to Dorking. Experience required for this Private Client, Wills and Probate vacancy: Handling a wide caseload of private client matters Drafting wills including drafting life interest trusts and vulnerable person trusts, and understand inheritance tax planning that could be applied when the wills are being drafted. Experience in administering estates, which would include estates that are liable to inheritance tax and dealing with the submission of an IHT400 to HM Revenue & Customs Experience in preparing and registering lasting powers of attorney Additional experience in trust management and Court of Protection applications and general management of a person’s financial affairs would be useful, but not essentialThe Candidate 4 years + PQE within the area of Private Client Have great attention to detail Works well under pressure Excellent client care skills Excellent communication skills with a client-focused approach Able to explain matters in clear, accessible language Ability to manage a busy, varied caseload (ideally including high net worth clients), with efficiency and care.
