You will take on a varied and rewarding caseload of probate and estate administration matters while also supporting the wider private client team. The role will include but is not limited to: Managing a caseload of probate and estate administration matters from initial instruction to conclusion Preparing applications for Grants of Probate/Letters of Administration Liaising with executors, beneficiaries, financial institutions, and HMRC Advising on inheritance tax issues and preparing relevant forms Distributing estate assets and preparing estate accounts Supporting more complex private client matters alongside senior colleagues Assisting with mentoring and supporting junior team members where appropriate Contributing to business development efforts to help grow the department's client base About You: Proven experience handling probate and estate administration files independently Strong understanding of inheritance tax, trusts, and the administration of estates Qualified Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive, or experienced non-qualified probate fee earner STEP qualification or working towards STEP (desirable but not essential) Excellent client care and interpersonal skills Highly organised with good attention to detail A collaborative team player with a positive and professional attitude What's on Offer: Competitive salary, commensurate with experience and qualifications 25 days annual leave bank holidays Christmas closure A warm, supportive, and family-style working environment Flexible working options Opportunities for continued professional development and career progression How to apply: If you are interested in this opportunity, please click the apply button.
