Fawkes & Reece are currently working with a Cardiff-based client seeking an experienced Architectural Technician to join their growing practice on a permanent basis.
This established practice is dedicated to delivering exceptional quality of service across the UK, with a strong focus on London and the South West. Their core work includes conversions, extensions, renovations, and new‑build design, and due to continued success and a strong pipeline of projects into 2026, they are now looking to expand their team.
Role
* Work predominantly on residential projects
* Conduct measured surveys and lead client design sessions
* Confidently meet clients face‑to‑face and present detailed design packages
* Prepare and submit planning applications
* Liaise with consultants and contractors throughout the project lifecycle
Requirements
* Minimum 3 years experience working on residential and commercial projects
* Ability to work independently and hit the ground running
* Strong communication and client‑facing skills
* Proactive approach with the confidence to take initiative
