Graduate Teaching Assistant – SEND Focus

Just graduated with a degree in Education, Special Needs, Psychology or Child Development? Ready to put your skills to use in a meaningful role?

We’re looking for passionate, switched-on graduates to join a fantastic SEND school in Bromley, supporting pupils with a range of additional needs. If you’re calm, caring, and ready to build a career in education or child support, this is the perfect place to start.

What You’ll Be Doing:

* Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups—building trust, encouraging engagement, and helping every student feel safe and supported.
* Applying your academic knowledge to real-life classroom challenges.
* Collaborating with teachers, SENCOs and therapists to support learning, behaviour and wellbeing.
* Helping pupils with autism, ADHD, and SEMH needs access learning in a way that works for them.

What You’ll Need:

* A degree in SEND, Education, Psychology, Child Development, or a related field.
* Some experience working with children or young people (volunteering, mentoring, youth work all count!).
* A patient, consistent, and empathetic approach—you’re someone who stays steady when things get tough.
* A genuine interest in making a difference to children with additional needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
