The Role
An Ofsted-rated Good secondary school in Coventry is seeking a skilled and creative Design Technology Teacher to join their department from April 2026 on a full-time, long-term basis.
The role will involve teaching Design Technology across Key Stages 3 and 4, with a focus on Food Technology and Resistant Materials. You will deliver engaging, practical lessons that develop students’ technical skills, creativity, and understanding of design processes.
Responsibilities include planning and delivering lessons, maintaining workshop and food preparation safety standards, assessing student progress, and supporting pupils in completing coursework and practical assessments. The school is looking for a teacher who can combine strong classroom management with hands-on, engaging teaching.
