Be a part of something inspirational
Sport Lancaster has recently undergone a dynamic phase of change and development, opening up a wide range of opportunities within an evolving and ambitious environment. Joining our team at this pivotal time offers a unique opportunity to help shape the future of sport at Lancaster University – and to truly be a part of something inspirational.
The University has made significant investments in Sport Lancaster over recent years, with the most recent development being a brand new 8-court badminton sports hall, completed in June 2020. This has further enhanced our already impressive range of facilities and enables us to offer a first-class sporting environment for all.
Our team operates a state-of-the-art Sports Centre that includes an 8.5m climbing wall, multi-functional sports halls, a swimming pool, sauna and steam room, a 100-station Technogym fitness suite, squash courts, and a comprehensive range of other fitness and wellness facilities. In addition, we manage the University's expansive outdoor sports grounds which include rugby pitches, 3G surfaces, tennis courts, and more.
The Sports Centre is proudly owned and operated by Lancaster University and welcomes students from across the UK, staff, and members of the local community. Sport Lancaster is also home to several prestigious national sporting events throughout the year.
Our passionate and knowledgeable team is at the heart of everything we do. With expertise in a wide range of disciplines, we strive to inspire everyone who walks through our doors to be more active, more confident, and more connected. We offer fully accessible facilities and support people of all abilities.
