What you’ll be doing:
* Lead a small team of food managers to oversee the grocery shop floor in one of our supermarkets.
* Execute engaging trading events by collaborating closely with the store leadership team, ensuring success during occasions like Christmas or Easter.
* Take full accountability for the store in the absence of a store manager, role modeling high standards and efficiency across the food hall.
* Manage compliance with processes and safety regulations while fostering a passion for excellent shopkeeping and creating fantastic shopping experiences.
* Supervise a large team of colleagues, ensuring optimal performance, presence on the shop floor, and proper handling of all people-related matters, from celebrating successes to managing challenging situations.
