Role Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, dynamic, forward‑thinking Administration Manager to join the Administration Senior Management Team at the Adult Forensic Service. Our Forensic Mental Health service provides treatment, rehabilitation and aftercare for people who are mentally unwell and who are in the criminal justice system. Our wards specialise in each part of a service user’s recovery and aim to prepare the person for life in the community.
Responsibilities
* Support the Operational Services & Performance Manager with day‑to‑day running of the administration services and delivery of National KPI’s.
* Oversee high‑quality management of Division Administration Services, including Senior Administrators, Medical Secretaries, Team Secretaries, Ward Administrators and Management Secretaries/PA’s.
* Develop and maintain administrative systems to ensure robust monitoring of the service.
* Assist in the development of staff teams to ensure quality of service and the achievement of performance targets.
* Review, maintain and develop operational processes, policies and procedures; embed them into day‑to‑day practice.
* Provide a confidential, efficient and service‑user friendly approach to each service within the division.
Qualifications & Experience
* Highly organised, efficient and able to work well under pressure.
* Strong HR and leadership experience, with proven ability to manage a large group of staff.
* Experience in managing workloads and delegating activities across administrative teams.
* Knowledge of NHS standards and a commitment to safeguarding, diversity and inclusion.
* Must be able to undergo satisfactory pre‑employment checks and hold a DBS.
