About the Role
Through our Advisory & Advocacy (A&A) services, we address key challenges in the built environment, offering expertise in Climate Advisory, Digital Advisory, Energy Economics, Societal Insights, Strategy & Stewardship, and Utilities & Infrastructure.
As a Graduate Advisory & Advocacy Consultant, you will work within a multidisciplinary team, delivering innovative solutions to clients. You will contribute to the six pillars of our A&A services:
* Climate resilience and decarbonization strategies
* Digital transformation and smart technology integration
* Societal insights for people-centered environments
* Sustainable energy economics for a Net Zero future
* Strategy & Stewardship for ESG compliance and innovation
* Utilities & infrastructure to meet growing demands sustainably
The Utilities team collaborates with MEP engineers and sustainability experts, covering water, gas, electricity, telecoms, and energy services.
We manage projects from start to finish, balancing speed, cost, risk, and low-carbon solutions, negotiating optimal prices and timelines.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
* Supporting live projects across sectors like healthcare, education, and urban development
* Conducting research, data modeling, and analysis to solve client challenges
* Performing site due diligence, assessing utility assets and access to new supplies
* Providing coordinate drawings and utility integration into the built environment
* Collaborating with clients on strategies and solutions
* Participating in design sprints and workshops
* Developing expertise in technical, business, and societal aspects
About You
* 1-2 years’ experience in utilities or a related field
* Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Civil Engineering with 2.1 or above (IET or CIBSE accredited or equivalent)
* Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, or similar software is advantageous
* Grid code exposure is a plus
* Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills
* Ability to work independently and in teams
* Friendly, ambitious, confident, flexible, and resilient
