An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and experienced administrator to join the Office of the Medical Director at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. We are seeking a motivated individual who can deliver high quality administrative support to our General Managers and Associate Medical Directors.
To be successful you will have a flexible and professional approach as well as the ability and confidence to cope with the demands and pressures of a busy working environment.
The role requires sound knowledge and experience of complex diary management, high level meeting support including the preparation and distribution of agendas, collation of papers, and transcribing of minutes to a high standard of accuracy. The successful candidate will be delegated a high level of responsibility and be expected to work independently as well as pro-actively managing competing work priorities.
Main duties of the job
1. You will manage, plan and deliver high quality business support providing effective, confidential, secretarial and administrative support on a day to day basis to the Associate Medical Directors and Senior Managers within the Office of the Medical Director’s Office.
2. You will undertake and manage a variety of projects on behalf of the Medical Director’s Office.
3. You will compile and amend databases using MS Excel to monitor, record and report on departmental projects.
4. You will provide a primary point of contact between the Medical Director’s Office and both internal and external bodies.
