Edge Staffing has an exciting opportunity for FLT Bendi Driver to join our clients’ expanding business working in Doxford Park, Sunderland.
You would be working Monday to Friday between 2.00pm and 10.00pm at a rate of £12.50 per hour.
Overtime available on weekends paid at £18.60 for Saturdays and £24.42 for Sundays.
The role involves navigating narrow aisles, ensuring loads are stable and within capacity, and communicating effectively with other staff to ensure safe working practices are adhered too. General tasks will include:-
* Loading & Unloading: Safely and efficiently loading and unloading goods from trailers, lorries, and other vehicles.
* Material Movement & Storage: Stacking, moving, and relocating merchandise and materials to and from storage bays, shelves, and other designated areas.
* Safety & Maintenance: Conducting daily pre-operational safety checks on the forklift to ensure it is in good working order.
* Safety Compliance: Adhering strictly to safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents, injuries, and damage to goods.
* Load Management: Ensuring that all loads are properly secured, stable, and within the forklift's weight and load centre limits to prevent tipping.
