Learn English at Home (LEAH) is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented, and driven individual to support our fundraising efforts and help us grow our impact. If you're passionate about social justice and want to be part of a small, values-led charity working to break down language barriers for sanctuary seekers, this could be the role for you.
We’re looking for someone with a strong background in fundraising—particularly trusts and foundations—who is a compelling writer and an excellent relationship builder. You’ll be joining at an exciting time as we expand our services. You’ll work closely with the Fundraising Manager and wider leadership team to research opportunities, write persuasive proposals, and cultivate funder relationships to help secure long-term income for our work.
You’ll need to be highly organised, self-motivated, and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively. Strong communication skills and a flair for turning data and impact stories into engaging funding applications are essential. Experience with CRM systems and understanding budgets will also be important.
This is a part-time, permanent role (2 days/14 hours per week) with hybrid and flexible working. You'll be based at either our Kingston or Mitcham office.
Desirable: Lived experience as a speaker of English as a second language or knowledge of the UK migration system, interest in digital fundraising, or previous work with volunteers.
