Description Support Developer Schneider Geospatial is excited to welcome a Support Developer to our SaaS Product Support team. This role focuses on providing technical support and system maintenance for our innovative solutions that transform how local governments operate. As part of a team of SaaS product experts, you’ll help ensure smooth client experience and contribute to the ongoing success of our platforms. The Schneider Geospatial Support Specialist serves as a front-line team member providing excellent remote customer service for clients and end users of our desktop and SaaS applications, while managing many concurrent tasks. An ideal candidate will use problem solving skills to troubleshoot initial problems related to hardware and software to identify and resolve technical problems. Why Join Us? What You'll Do Support and maintain SaaS products used by local governments. Collaborate with teammates to troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve technical issues. Ensure systems run efficiently to meet client needs. Clearly document support cases and client questions. Provide phone and email support relating to maintaining Schneider Geospatial’s web products. Respond to client calls and emails in a timely manner. Remotely connect to client machines to assist with Data ETL connection issues. Analyze client issues, troubleshoot the problem, and implement the solution. Document and record case communications. Manage multiple cases simultaneously. What We’re Looking For We’re seeking candidates who are self-motivated, team-oriented, and eager to learn. Required Skills: Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand problem statements quickly and clearly. Foundational experience with .NET web development (C# or VB). Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Experience with Structured Query Language (SQL). Ability to write simple scripts (e.g., Python). Clear verbal and written communication coupled with strong intrapersonal skills. Proficiency to handle multiple competing priorities. Ability to work on a team collaboratively but also individually as dictated by the cases you will support. Experience working in small teams with an entrepreneurial attitude. Strong work ethic and proactive approach. Friendly, personable, and quick to establish rapport with clients. Efficient in Microsoft Office applications. Experience with Windows OS, file directory and network navigation, basic OS admin tasks. Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills, with a willingness to learn new skills. Strong desire to successfully and enthusiastically support software that is being used to solve customer problems. Preferred Skills: Experience with local government operations. Exposure to GIS, especially ESRI ArcGIS products. Experience working with real property appraisal, CAMA, or property tax systems. Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, GIS, management information systems, or a related field, OR equivalent practical experience. What’s Next for You?
