The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) will be a key member of the Group Executive Team, responsible for unifying and driving technology, product strategy, and innovation across the Group.
This role combines the vision of a Chief Technology Officer with the customer and commercial focus of a Chief Product Owner. The CTO will shape the Group's technology and product roadmap, foster a culture of innovation, and ensure the portfolio delivers competitive advantage and customer value.
Key Responsibilities
* Define and lead the Group's technology vision and strategy, aligned to business growth and customer needs.
* Drive convergence of technology platforms and engineering practices while respecting the unique requirements of individual Business Units.
* Champion modern development and delivery methodologies to improve speed, quality, and customer impact.
* Support the product management team, shaping the Group product vision, portfolio strategy, and innovation roadmap.
* Build an innovation pipeline that addresses today's infrastructure challenges while anticipating future needs.
* Lead and inspire a high-performing global organisation across technology, products, and R&D.
* Develop talent & Ways of Working by building succession for domain leads, foster re‑use of code/components, and promote a pragmatic, outcomes‑first culture.
Essential Experience
* Proven track record in senior leadership roles spanning technology and product strategy.
* Strong background in market-driven product development in industrial technology, IoT, SaaS, or critical infrastructure sectors.
* Experience integrating product portfolios post-M&A, with a clear track record of creating value through acquisitions.
* Demonstrated ability to use market and customer insight to shape growth strategy and product roadmaps.
