Management Information Systems and Examinations Officer Location: Slough Borough Council Contract Type: Temporary (Initially 3 months) Working Hours: 37 hours per week Pay Rate: £26 per hour (umbrella) (£20 PAYE an hour) About the Role Slough Borough Council is seeking a highly organised and detail-focused Management Information Systems and Examinations Officer to support our education and learning services. Key Responsibilities: Data Management: Oversee all aspects of the service’s management information systems (MIS), ensuring the accuracy and quality of data entry and integrity across all platforms, including data submitted by partners. Reporting: Produce a broad range of analytical reports for internal use and statutory reporting to external bodies on a timely basis. Database Oversight: Manage and maintain complex databases and associated spreadsheets to support effective monitoring, planning, and decision-making. Examinations Coordination: Lead the administration and coordination of all examinations, ensuring compliance with awarding body regulations and internal policies. Quality Assurance: Maintain and improve the quality of MIS data, enabling evidence-based service planning and delivery. Policy Compliance: Ensure all examination processes align with current standards and practices set by awarding organisations.Requirements: Proven experience in managing educational management information systems and databases. Strong analytical and data reporting skills. Familiarity with examination processes and awarding body standards. Excellent organisational and communication abilities.
