About The Role
Cornerstone Healthcare is an award‑winning provider of specialist care and is looking for an experienced Bank Nurse (RMN/RGN) to join our supportive team at South Africa Lodge, a 99‑bed home providing exceptional care across six specialised units. Our focus is always on the person, not the diagnosis – creating a safe, comfortable, and dignified environment where residents can truly thrive. We are proud to be rated GOOD with CQC. What You'll Bring
* Experience as a Registered Nurse in the UK with a valid NMC pin (RMN desirable)
* Experience within a care/nursing home setting preferred
* Ability to work alone and as part of a team, forming positive relationships with colleagues, residents and families
* A caring and empathetic approach to residents and visitors
* Effective written and verbal communication skills
Your Working Pattern
* Day shifts: 07:45 to 20:15 (11.5‑hour shift)
* Night shifts: 20:15 to 07:45 (11.5‑hour shift)
What You'll Be Doing
* Assess, plan and evaluate care needs or the provision of care
* Participate in clinical meetings and report areas of concern to managers
* Oversee care provided by Health Care Assistants on shift, ensuring relevant documentation is maintained comprehensively
*Please note*: Due to our training programme, all Bank employees must attend a 5‑day induction before starting employment. The induction will be paid for and takes place Monday to Friday, 09:30 to 16:30. If you are working another full‑time role, please consider this mandatory induction when applying.
