Level 3 Playworker - Stockport
Location: Stockport, Greater Manchester
Hours: Monday to Friday, 3:00pm - 6:00pm
Pay Rate: £15 per hour
Contract: Ongoing, part-time
Are you a qualified Level 3 Playworker who loves creating fun, safe, and engaging environments for children? We're looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team supporting after-school provision in the Stockport area.
About the Role
You'll be responsible for delivering high-quality play opportunities and ensuring children have a positive, enriching experience after school. Working as part of a friendly and supportive team, you'll help plan, lead, and facilitate a wide range of play activities that encourage creativity, confidence, and social development.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver a variety of play-based activities suitable for primary-aged children
* Maintain a safe, welcoming, and inclusive play environment
* Support children's emotional and social wellbeing
* Liaise with parents, carers, and school staff as required
* Adhere to safeguarding and health & safety policies at all times
Requirements
* Level 3 qualification in Playwork (or equivalent in Childcare/Early Years)
* Experience working with children in a play or education setting
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
