WPS is seeking a versatile and experienced Multi-skilled Engineer to join our mobile engineering team supporting a high-profile global client across multiple sites in the South of England.
This is a hands-on role requiring a proactive approach to planned and reactive maintenance, compliance inspections, and general building services support across a portfolio of commercial properties.
🔍 Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out PPMs and reactive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems
* Diagnose faults and perform repairs on plant and equipment including AHUs, pumps, valves, and control systems
* Support statutory inspections and ensure compliance with SHEQ standards
* Maintain accurate records via PDA and site logbooks
* Liaise with subcontractors and oversee service visits
* Provide basic handyman services including furniture moves, door maintenance, and minor repairs
* Participate in the on-call rota and support the 24/7 helpdesk operations
🧠 Skills & Experience:
* NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
* 18th Edition (or willingness to train), 2391 Testing & Inspection desirable
* L8 Awareness and basic plumbing skills
* Ability to read and interpret schematic drawings
* Experience with BMS, emergency lighting, water treatment, and HVAC systems
* IOSH/NEBOSH qualification advantageous
