Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Fully Qualified Electrician with at least one year of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in inspection and testing, with the ability to work in both domestic and commercial environments. Experience with solar PV and electric vehicle (EV) installations is an advantage but not mandatory, as training will be provided for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct inspections and testing of electrical systems to ensure compliance with relevant safety standards and regulations.
* Perform installations, repairs, and maintenance of electrical systems in both domestic and commercial settings.
* Install and maintain Solar PV systems (training provided if not already qualified).
* Install and service Electric Vehicle (EV) charging points (advantageous but not essential).
* Diagnose and resolve electrical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
* Ensure work is completed in compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
* Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
* Provide excellent customer service while working on-site, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.
* Manage time effectively to ensure jobs are completed within the required timeframe.
Key Requirements:
* Fully qualified Electrician with a minimum of 1 year of post-qualification experience.
* Experience in electrical inspection and testing (e.g., 18th Edition, City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent).
* Experience in both domestic and commercial electrical work.
* Solar PV qualification is a plus (training will be provided if needed).
* Experience with EV charging point installations is an advantage.
* Willingness to travel to various job sites.
* Positive, can-do attitude with a strong willingness to learn and develop new skills.
* Strong time management and organizational skills.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Full UK driving license (or appropriate driving qualifications for your region).
