Support Worker — Ref: DP3105 | Location: Worthing
This role is to support a Woman. Drivers licence required. Employment status: employed. Hours per week: Between 6-10 hours per week to be discussed and mutually agreed with the employer. Hourly pay rate: £12.21 per hour.
Responsibilities
* Administration
* Housekeeping
* Cooking
* Transportation
* Companionship
* Looking after pets
* Gardening (enjoyment in gardening would be a bonus, limited to summer months)
* Reading and leisure activities
* Comfortable taking my guide dog on occasion
* Accompany me and my children on appointments
* Out-of-home assistance with the children and with me
Candidate qualities
* Respectful of the employer's privacy and confidentiality
* Reliable with good timekeeping
* Able to follow instructions and work on own initiative
* Hygienic, tidy and well organised
* Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
* Patient with excellent interpersonal skills
* Honest and cheerful
* Creative
* Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard
* Must be comfortable with pets
* Able to work to high standards of health & safety
* UK Driving Licence, own car optional as the employer has a car
* Previous experience preferred but not essential; a kind and common-sense approach is valued
