About The Role
We’re looking for a proactive and highly capable Project Manager to join our team in Elgin, supporting the successful delivery of the Beauly to Peterhead OHL project. This is a key opportunity to influence the future of Scotland’s transmission network and lead a multi‑disciplinary team on a nationally significant programme.
Responsibilities
* Lead multi‑disciplinary teams to deliver safely, sustainably and to programme
* Oversee OHL delivery including tower erection, cabling and temporary works
* Ensure robust safety systems, RAMS review, incident investigations
* Manage subcontractors, stakeholders and client relationships
* Own project budget, forecasting, cost control and reporting
* Develop resource‑loaded schedules and monitor progress
* Maintain Digital Briefcase and accurate project records
Qualifications
* Experience of working on a variety of project types
* Track record of project delivery
* Understanding and practical experience of standard forms of contracts
* Proficient in commercial/project management communications
* Experience implementing safe systems of work
* Strong verbal and written communication across all organisational levels
* Ability to communicate new concepts to technical and non‑technical stakeholders
* Effective team management, mentoring and empowering others
* Knowledge of performance evaluation techniques and key metrics
* Solution‑based approach to problem solving
* Ability to see and inspire shared business vision
* Confidence in discussing ideas and plans
* Active promoter of diversity and inclusion
* Learning mindset and commitment to personal development
* Member of a professional management body (e.g., APM)
* Proficient in O365
* Holds a current driving licence
* Formal qualification in project management or equivalent experience
* CSCS and SMSTS or equivalent
