What you will be doing

As a Data Entry Administrator/Operator, you will work as part of a large team to ensure the efficient operation of the weekly lotteries. Responsibilities include running the processing company's mail, entering data into a system, and maintaining correct and up-to-date customer records. The role involves data entry and verification for new members, renewals, and payments, as well as managing debit/credit card transactions and reconciliation.

What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like

* Mail opening: We process large quantities of physical mail from our supporters and ensure that every postal entry is opened, allocated, batched and processed.

* Data entry: This mail requires data entry into our internal system, so after processing the email, you will be required to add the information into the system.

* Working with our AI scanner: we have recently implemented an AI OCR scanner, which helps us to enter a large amount of data; however, there are some manual processes that would require your help, such as checking the data.

* Excellent computer literacy, ability to learn different systems,

* Ability to work under pressure and under tight deadlines,

* Pride yourself on accuracy and attention to detail,

* Operate with a customer service and continuous improvement mindset,

* Demonstrate great communication skills,

* Ability to work in a large, busy team.

Salary: £24,000 per annum, 37.5 hours per week

This position is subject to satisfactory Right to Work in the UK and DBS checks.
