Senior Site Engineer – Highways Liverpool £50,000 – £55,000 package Long-term local highways framework A leading main civil engineering contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Site Engineer to play a key role in the delivery of a long-term highways framework across the Liverpool area. This is a permanent position offering stable, local work on complex highways schemes, with increased technical ownership and progression into more senior delivery roles. The Role Working closely with the Site Manager and General Foreman, you will take responsibility for the engineering delivery of highways projects typically valued between £5m – £50m, including: * Leading setting out and technical delivery on site * Overseeing junior engineers and providing technical support * Ensuring works are delivered in line with drawings and specifications * Managing QA, ITPs and as-built records * Coordinating subcontractors and site teams * Supporting short-term planning and programme delivery Project Scope * Highways & infrastructure works * Drainage (deep & shallow) * Kerbing, surfacing & reinstatement * Live carriageway environments About You * Proven experience as a Senior Site Engineer or experienced Site Engineer ready to step up * Strong highways background with hands-on setting out experience * Confident managing technical aspects of drainage, kerbing & surfacing works * Comfortable working within live traffic environments Tickets / qualifications: * CSCS * SMSTS – desirable * First Aid – desirable What’s on Offer * £50,000 – £55,000 basic salary * Competitive package (car / allowance, pension, etc.) * Long-term secured framework workload * Predominantly local projects * Clear progression into Site Management or Project Engineering
