JOB PURPOSE
As a Retrofit Coordinator, you'll provide expert support across our portfolio of PAS2035 Social Housing and Private Homeowner projects. You'll be the go-to person for retrofit queries, helping the team assess property viability, liaise with stakeholders, and ensure projects meet compliance and quality standards.
This is a great opportunity to shape retrofit delivery, help alleviate fuel poverty and make a real impact on energy efficiency. You'll work closely with Retrofit Assessors, Designers and Installers to support compliant, customer-focused installations.
This is a hybrid role, with the flexibility to work from home and our office in Derby – site working is an essential part of the role.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Skills / Responsibilities:
* Level 5 Diploma in Retrofit Coordination and Risk Management is essential.
* Experience working within PAS2030/2035 and retrofit frameworks
* Strong understanding of Warm Homes Social Fund and Warm Homes Local Grant requirements
* Working with Retrofit Assessors to deliver high quality retrofit assessment surveys
* Working with clients to develop Improvement Option Evaluations and Medium-Term Plans for large scale retrofit programmes
* Working with the Retrofit Design team to deliver high quality retrofit designs in line with programme requirements
* Working with installers to ensure that energy efficiency measures are installed in accordance with PAS2030 and retrofit designs.
* Working with the Project Administration team to ensure timely collation of installation evidence and lodgement of properties with Trustmark.
KEY PERSONAL QUALITIES AND EXPERIENCE
* You will ideally have a building surveying background. Candidates will ideally have professional membership of RICS or CIOB.
* You must have Level 5 Diploma in Retrofit Coordination and Risk Management
* You will be DEA qualified, holding a level 3 diploma in Domestic Energy Assessment and you will have completed a Retrofit Assessor upskill course.
* You will have Level 3 Award in Energy Efficiency for Older and Traditional Buildings.
* You will have independent Trustmark Registration through an accreditation scheme, ideally Elmhurst.
* You will have at least 2 years of residential retrofit coordination experience, including experience of delivering large scale social housing schemes.
* You will have a full, clean driving license and your own vehicle for work use.
* You'll have good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise, multi-task and manage own time effectively.
* You'll have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strong collaborative internal and external working relationships.
* You'll need to show that you can take responsibility, meet project deadlines, to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
