About the role
We're a fast-growing agency / lead-generation company helping our clients generate consistent high-quality leads through outbound systems (cold email + LinkedIn outreach). We're looking for a sharp, independent Marketing Manager who doesn't just execute - you own client results.
You'll onboard new clients, build and optimise their entire outbound sales infrastructure, write high-converting copy, manage ongoing performance, and proactively come up with creative strategies every month to beat targets. Key Responsibilities
* Client Onboarding: Lead full onboarding for new clients: discovery calls, goal setting, custom strategy creation, 30/90/180-day roadmaps, and smooth handoff to execution. Ensure clients see fast wins and understand the system.
* Build & Scale Sales/Outreach Systems: Design, implement, and continuously improve end-to-end outbound pipelines. This includes lead sourcing & enrichment, multichannel sequencing (email + LinkedIn), automation workflows, inbox rotation, deliverability management, and CRM integration.
* Write High-Converting Sales Copy: Craft persuasive, personalized cold email sequences, LinkedIn message templates, follow-ups, and reply-handling scripts. A/B test angles, subject lines, and CTAs to drive reply rates, meetings booked, and pipeline velocity.
* Client Management & Monthly Performance: Own the client relationship post-onboarding: weekly check-ins, monthly performance reviews, KPI reporting (leads generated, meetings booked, opportunities created, ROI). Proactively spot underperformance and ideate fixes.
* Creative & Independent Thinking: Think like an owner: analyse data, research new angles/verticals, test bold outreach experiments, and invent creative ways to improve client results every single month. No micromanagement—your ideas drive our edge.
* Tool Mastery & Optimisation: Build and manage campaigns in Clay (lead building/enrichment), HeyReach (LinkedIn automation), Smartlead and/or Instantly (cold email). Stay ahead of deliverability best practices and tool updates.
Requirements
* 2+ years in outbound marketing, lead generation, client-facing growth roles, or agency client success (B2B SaaS, agencies, or service businesses preferred)
* Proven track record improving monthly client KPIs through outbound channels (reply rates 10%+, meetings booked, pipeline growth)
* Strong copywriting skills—able to write natural, persuasive, human-sounding sales copy that converts (portfolio or examples required)
* Hands-on experience building outbound systems end-to-end (lead gen → enrichment → sequencing → analytics)
* Big plus: Direct experience with Clay, HeyReach, Smartlead, and/or Instantly (we use these daily familiarity means you hit the ground running)
* Comfortable with data analysis (open/reply rates, bounce rates, deliverability metrics) and A/B testing
* Highly autonomous, proactive, and creative problem-solver who thrives without constant direction
* Excellent written & verbal communication; comfortable leading client calls
