Project Manager – Live Events & Production
A leading event production company in South London is looking to for a Senior Project Manager to join their growing team to lead the planning and delivery of complex projects from concept through to completion.
Our client operates within the live events sector, delivering best-in-class, high budget productions across a range of private and corporate projects. With a strong focus on combining creative design and technical production, they are known for producing creatively distinctive events.
To be a success in this role you must come from an experiential events background have a strong technical AV understanding and have significant experience working closely with workshops on bespoke scenic builds. High level agency experience beneficial.
The Role
You will take ownership of projects end-to-end, ensuring seamless delivery across all stages while balancing creative ambition with practical execution.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing projects from initial brief through to final delivery, including defining timelines and critical paths
* Liaising with high-end clients to understand requirements and develop effective production solutions
* Collaborating with internal teams across production, design and technical disciplines
* Acting as the main point of contact for clients, managing communication throughout the project lifecycle
* Coordinating freelancers, technicians and subcontractors, including scheduling and deliverables
* Overseeing bespoke scenic fabrication and production processes to ensure alignment with agreed specifications
* Managing project budgets, including cost control, reconciliation and invoicing
* Ensuring all health & safety requirements are met, with appropriate documentation and onsite compliance
* Leading onsite delivery and ensuring projects are executed to a high standard
* Conducting post-project reviews and sharing learnings across the wider team
About You
The successful candidate will bring a strong background in live event production, at a senior level, with experience managing technically complex projects.
Key skills and experience include:
* Proven experience delivering large-scale live events or productions
* Strong understanding of both technical AV and scenic production elements
* Experience managing complex budgets (typically £250k+)
* Excellent organisational and project management skills
* Strong client-facing experience with the ability to communicate solutions clearly
* Collaborative approach with strong leadership capabilities
* Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements
* Interest in new technologies and innovation within the events space
* Willingness to travel internationally as required
