We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a First Line IT Support Analyst to join a growing organisation with a strong focus on in-house IT support and technology services.
Working as a First Line IT Support Analyst you will deliver service desk and helpdesk support, troubleshooting hardware, software and network issues while ensuring excellent user support across the business.
As a First Line IT Support Analyst you will support IT infrastructure, manage user accounts and contribute to system improvements within a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
This role is ideal for someone passionate about IT support, technical troubleshooting and providing high-quality service desk solutions.
Duties
* Provide IT Support: Deliver first line technical support via service desk and ticketing systems
* Troubleshoot Issues: Diagnose hardware, software and network problems efficiently
* Manage User Accounts: Administer Active Directory, permissions and account setups
* Maintain Systems: Support ongoing maintenance of IT infrastructure and secure environments
* Configure Devices: Set up user devices, systems and access requirements
* Document Solutions: Create technical documentation for fixes, processes and procedures
* Support Internal Systems: Assist with storage access and system administration tasks
* Ensure Security Compliance: Follow best practice in IT security and data protection
Candidate Requirements
* IT Support Experience: Previous experience in IT support, service desk or helpdesk environments
* Operating Systems Knowledge: Experience with Windows and Mac OS; Linux advantageous
* Technical Troubleshooting: Proven ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues
* Networking Fundamentals: Understanding of basic networking and infrastructure
* Microsoft Technologies: Experience with Microsoft Server, Active Directory and Group Policy
* Security Awareness: Knowledge of modern cybersecurity and secure IT practices
* Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to support users effectively
* Organisation Skills: Ability to prioritise and manage workload in a fast-paced setting
* Proactive Approach: Positive, solution-focused mindset with attention to detail
* Driving Requirement: Full UK driving licence and access to own transport
