Overview
Full-Time Fixed Term until September 2026. We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic professional to join our UK Recruitment and Partnerships Department as UK Student Recruitment Manager. This is a pivotal role, providing leadership to our UK Recruitment team and driving delivery of the University’s UK Recruitment Strategy in line with Strategy 2035 and our core values of Ambition, Confidence, and Respect.
The UK Recruitment Manager will oversee a team responsible for engaging prospective students, schools, and colleges, delivering targeted recruitment activity from awareness through to application. The role involves strategic planning, operational delivery, and direct line management of Recruitment Coordinators, the Student Ambassador Scheme Coordinator, and Events Assistants, alongside a wider team including Recruitment Assistants.
Key Responsibilities
* Leading the development and delivery of recruitment activities both on and off campus, including managing Open Days in collaboration with the Events Team to ensure a high-quality visitor experience.
* Managing faculty recruitment plans and project operational plans, whilst working closely with academic teams to achieve recruitment targets.
* Driving an account management approach with schools and colleges to strengthen relationships and increase student recruitment.
* Overseeing reporting, evaluation, and continuous improvement of recruitment activity and campaigns.
* Managing multiple budgets, including planning, monitoring, and working to financial targets to ensure cost-effective delivery of recruitment activity.
* Representing the University at events nationwide, requiring some evening and weekend working.
Requirements and Qualities
We are looking for an individual with strong leadership and communication skills, significant experience of student recruitment within higher education, and a proven track record of managing teams and delivering results. You will be innovative, proactive, and able to work strategically to achieve ambitious recruitment targets while upholding the University’s values and vision. This role will require regular travel within the UK.

Regular travel within the UK; some evening and weekend commitments may be required.
