Our well-established and highly regarded client based near St. Ives, Cambridgeshire is looking for an experienced Goods In Coordinator to join their warehouse team on a permanent, full-time basis. Working Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm (42.5 hour week).
This is a hands-on and varied role, ideal for someone with strong warehouse experience who enjoys leading by example, supporting team performance, and ensuring goods-in operations run safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities for the Goods In Coordinator role:
* Oversee day-to-day operations within the Goods In department
* Monitor and manage stock movements and replenishment to support production
* Delegate tasks and provide absence cover across warehouse operations
* Train and support new team members
* Ensure Health & Safety compliance across logistics and yard areas
* Keep warehouse and yard areas clear of hazards; report accidents or issues immediately
* Support warehouse compliance and assist the warehouse management team
* Oversee forklift fleet maintenance and conduct weekly vehicle checks
* Unload vehicles and containers safely and efficiently
* Complete and manage stock documentation and paperwork
* Support wider warehouse and logistics activities as required
To be Considered for the Goods In Coordinator role you will have:
* Hold a current Counterbalance Forklift licence
* Previous team leader or supervisory experience is desirable
* A strong team player with excellent communication skills
* Organised, proactive, and keen to learn and develop further
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
* Own transport is essential due to site location
