Are you an experienced payroll assistant who is available for work immediately and open to a long term contract?
We are hiring for a well known accountancy practice based in Paisley, who are looking for an experienced payroll assistant ideally with practice experience to support them for a period of 9 months.
This is a 9 month FTC, working 35 hours per week Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm, you will ideally be available to start work immediately.
What You'll Be Doing
* Processing a number of weekly and monthly payrolls
* Managing pension submissions and NI liabilities
* Communicating with clients directly to tailor payroll processes
* Building experience with recurring client accounts
* Supporting the payroll seniors and gradually taking ownership of responsibilities

* Confident, proactive, and not afraid to ask questions
* A strong communicator with a professional but approachable manner
* Comfortable dealing directly with clients
* A team player who's happy to get stuck in
* Down-to-earth and adaptable - this is a relaxed, no-drama kind of office
Experience in a payroll is essential, and if that's within an accountancy practice or payroll bureau, even better!
