Renewables Electrician (119jc) - Remote - £20 – 22ph Self-Employed under CIS scheme Are you a recently qualified Electrician, my client who is a growing leader in utility-scale renewable energy installations. They are looking for electricians to support major generation projects across the UK — hands-on, high-quality work with excellent pay and consistent hours. DUE TO THE NATURE OF THIS RECRUITMENT CONSULTANCY, WE ARE ONLY ABLE TO REPRESENT INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE EX MILITARY. What You’ll Do * Install electrical systems for renewable energy (solar, batteries, LV panels) * Carry out wiring, terminations, cable runs, and equipment installations * Assist in testing, fault finding, and commissioning * Work closely with supervisors and site teams to meet deadlines * Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, compliant worksite What You’ll Need * NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) * ECS Gold Card (preferred) * 18th Edition & Testing (BS2391 or 2392 preferred) * 3 years' experience (renewables or utility-scale projects a plus) * Own transport (mileage reimbursed) & ability to work away during the week * Experience using tools like iAuditor or digital reporting apps Why Join Them? * Weekly CIS payments * Stable, long-term projects * Opportunity to grow with a fast-moving renewables contractor * Supportive, professional teams on-site As my client has operations across the length and breadth of the UK, you must be prepared to stay away from home Mon – Fri and would ideally live centrally in the UK, but all applications will be considered within reason.
