Paramount Personnel are delighted to be working in partnership with an award winning Hotel, in the Looe area.
Leading the pastry section, you will be experienced and have a strong background in the pastry section, from a previous rosette background. As the pastry chef, you will be responsible for the entire management of the pastry section.
Pastry Chef responsibilities to include;
5. Design and test recipes for seasonal desserts, signature pastries and speciality breads.
6. Calculate the cost per unit for all items to ensure menu profitability without compromising.
7. Stay current with culinary trends and dietary requirements, keeping the menu inclusive and modern.
8. Conduct regular taste tests and visual inspections, ensuring every item meets specific flavour demands.
9. Manage the ‘mise en place’ for the pastry station, ensuring all components are ready for service.
