Major IT and Digital have partnered with a leading managed services business on an exclusive arrangement. As a company my client has achieved ISO status and Microsoft Gold Partner accreditations by delivering excellent customer quality and high end service delivery. The business also operates UK wide working across a number of SMEs and large Corporations with a client list that is looking to continue to grow around 20% year on year. As a result of continued expansion, my client has immediate requirements for a 1 st line service desk engineer to work on key customer account queries covering the Cambridgeshire and the surrounding area. Ideal Candidate The successful candidate will come from a similar fast paced environment ideally managed services with at least 6 months commercial experience in a similar technical support or service desk role. As a 1 st line engineer, you will be a highly motivated with a good understanding of O365 and Active Directory, ideally with some understanding of server knowledge including system networks, installation and cloud based systems. Skills and responsibilities At least 6 months commercial knowledge working within a similar IT discipline including a solid understanding of 1 st service desk support, ideally within a managed services environment Troubleshooting and diagnostic experience via logs and reports A good understanding Windows / Exchange servers including desktop operation systems Active Directory configuration and admin A basic knowledge of O365 / SharePoint / OneDrive (admin / migration) Excellent customer service and service delivery skills Knowledge of laptop support and VPN Technologies Benefits: 25 Days Annual Leave Company Pension Scheme Private Health Care Employee Discount Scheme Ongoing Training & Development including industry certifications
