Salary: £95 – £120 per day (depending on experience)

GSL Education are seeking a committed SEND TA to work in supportive schools across Nottingham (NG7), providing tailored support to pupils and helping them achieve their full potential.
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). You will work closely with teachers and support staff to deliver targeted interventions, promote inclusion, and ensure pupils are fully engaged in their learning within a safe and nurturing environment.
Responsibilities:
* Support pupils with SEND on a one-to-one or small group basis according to their individual needs
* Assist with the delivery of lessons in line with the curriculum and syllabus
* Support pupils’ academic, social, emotional, and behavioural development
* Implement strategies outlined in EHCPs and indiviual support plans
* Help create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
* Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals
* Monitor and record pupil progress, providing feedback to teaching staff
What you’ll bring:
* Previous experience working with children or young people with SEND
* A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to supporting learning
* Good understanding of SEND needs such as ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or learning difficulties
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Relevant qualifications such as CACHE Level 2 or 3, NVQ, or equivalent experience are desirable
* An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply one with GSL Education
