Role: Engineer / Analyst – Civil & Structural
Hybrid working with one of the primary locations: Derby, Warrington or Manchester.
Responsibilities
* Deliver structural analysis using finite element methods (e.g., ABAQUS, Robot or similar) to support design and substantiation.
* Develop both global and detailed models to understand structural behaviour, load paths and responses.
* Support key programme deliverables, including Generic Design Assessment (GDA) submissions and technical packages.
* Work closely with design engineers and interfacing teams to ensure analysis aligns with and informs design development.
Qualifications
* Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
* Experience in structural analysis, ideally including finite element modelling in infrastructure or regulated environments.
* Understanding of structural behaviour, loading conditions (including complex or extreme loads) and relevant codes/standards.
Location
Hybrid working with an expectation to attend a UK office location as required to support team collaboration and project delivery.
Salary & Benefits
Salary: £40,000 – £52,500 (DOE). Bonus: performance‑related target opportunity 12.5%. Benefits include 12% employer pension contribution, 6% employee contribution, 28 days holiday plus public holidays, private medical insurance, life assurance, and a benefits allowance of £2,200 per annum.
