Where will you be working?
We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure.
This role will be within our demand management and network infrastructure team. We look after 60 million meters and our teams provide advanced metering solutions to help manage demand for essential suppliers.

What will you be doing?
You will be part of our Plumbing Team responsible for installing internal or external meters for our client Thames Water.
You will be required to deliver the highest standard of customer service and maintain a high level of Health and Safety whilst ensuring every job is carried out to a high standard.
We’re looking for NVQ qualified plumbers to join our Thames Water Metering contract (a 15-year contract to deliver 1.5 million water meter installs in the Thames Water Operating Area).
You will attend appointments in the morning, afternoon, or evening depending on your shift pattern.
You will install and replace internal or external water meters while engaging with customers to explain the next steps on their journey to becoming a metered customer.
What you’ll bring
* Proven experience in the plumbing industry (essential)
* Recognised NVQ level 2 plumbing qualification
* Valid UK driving license
* Excellent customer service and effective communication skills
