Due to continuous expansion, we are looking to recruit an experienced Office Assistant to join a small office-based Design team in a market leading bathroom pod company.
Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Office Assistant to join our team. The role is primarily administrative, supporting our Design Team throughout the design and construction phase of projects. It is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a keen interest in manufacturing who wants to gain hands on experience in the inner workings of a design and manufacturing office.
Responsibilities:
* Support the Design Team in developing and recording project information
* Prepare drawing packs and documentation to be used during production
* Research products and processes relevant to the project design
* Compile sign off packs with data sheets, drawings and schedules Compile handover information and O&M packs following the construction phase
* General admin tasks relating to the development and production of the bathroom pods
Requirements:
* Previous office experience is required; an understanding of drawings would be beneficial but not essential
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace
* Strong organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail to manage multiple tasks effectively
* Strong written and verbal skills
* Ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn new skills as needed
* Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team player
* Time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively
