About us
MFT is one of the largest NHS Trusts in England with a turnover of over £3bn. We are creating an integrated health & social care system for the 1 million patients who rely on our services each year. We bring together 10 hospitals and community services across Manchester, Trafford and beyond, championing collaborative working and transformation. Our 30,000-strong workforce is encouraged to pursue ambitious goals, and we set high standards that other Trusts aspire to emulate. We have created a digitally enabled organisation to improve clinical quality, patient and staff experience, and operational effectiveness through Hive, our Electronic Patient Record system launched in September 2022. We are a major academic Research Centre & Education provider, with a robust infrastructure to support high-quality research programmes. We are also embarking on a Green Plan to contribute to sustainable healthcare.
At MFT, we promote inclusion and belonging, provide equal opportunities for career development that are fair and transparent, protect health and wellbeing, and shape the future of our organisation together.
