Are you a qualified Practice Nurse looking to take the next steps in your career? We are currently looking for someone to join our large teaching practice to work alongside 2 other nurses.
The Practice is busy and dynamic offering high standards of clinical care to a diverse population with varying clinical needs.
The hours of work are negotiable up to full time at 37 hours per week. Salary is commensurate with experience.
You will be involved in almost every aspect of patient care and treatment, undertaking such tasks as:
* Chronic disease management for diabetes, weight management, Asthma, C.O.P.D. and hypertension.
* Health promotion/screening .
* Contraception and sexual health.
* Smoking cessation advice and support.
* Childhood vaccinations.
* Cervical cytology.
* Travel vaccinations.
* Infectious disease prevention - Flu, Shingles, Pneumococcal and other vaccinations.
Experience in practice nursing is preferable but for the right candidate training will be provided in all aspects of the role.
