Scope

Akkodis is launching a new technical delivery team to drive a UK national program in collaboration with key partners, designed to transform and future-proof the central government’s workforce. By leveraging cutting-edge technology, strategic partnerships, and a comprehensive SaaS-based platform, this program will create an advanced, candidate-centric experience tailored to meet tomorrow’s public sector skill demands.

This high-impact initiative offers a unique opportunity to join a team dedicated to building a scalable, data-driven recruitment ecosystem. Through redesigning, building, and rolling out a sophisticated Big Data system, our diverse roles span across architecture, project management, data analytics, development, and technical support, giving you the chance to shape a dynamic, next-gen digital infrastructure.

You’ll be integral to our mission of crafting a seamless, powerful platform that empowers the public sector with the talent to navigate an evolving digital landscape.

Role

We are seeking a Pega Certified Lead System Architect (CLSA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in architecting, designing, and delivering business applications using Pega Platform and Pega Customer Service (minimum v8.x, Pega Infinity 24.x strongly preferred), combined with strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Certification and Technical Expertise:

• Extensive experience with Pega, including enterprise-class structure design, data modelling, and application frameworks.

• Hands-on expertise in delivering scalable and robust Pega-based solutions adhering to Pega best practices for performance, security, and integration.

• Strong understanding of BPM/BRE solutions and interface/integration technologies.

Leadership and Communication:

• Proven ability to provide technical leadership, guiding teams in designing and implementing Pega solutions.

• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with clients and internal teams, discussing technical and business requirements.

• Strong ability to lead requirements discussions and advocate for leveraging Pega’s out-of-the-box capabilities.

Project Delivery:

• Demonstrable experience delivering projects within Agile methodology frameworks.

• Ability to work with Product Owners to develop requirements, solution concepts, and prototypes.

• Effective in driving discussions and translating business needs into technical specifications.

Cloud and Systems Expertise:

• Practical experience working with cloud systems and application servers.

• Strong background in application development and managing integration points.

Required Skills

• In-depth knowledge of Pega and enterprise application frameworks.

• Demonstrable experience in scalable, secure Pega implementations.

• Proficiency in modern BPM and integration technologies.

• Leadership and team mentorship capabilities.

• Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
